We’re longtime followers of the Australian designer Sibella Court, “captain,” as she describes herself, of the “hardware merchants and home goods” line The Society Inc. Lately we’ve been eyeing Sibella’s new collection of utilitarian hardware done over in woven leather and cane, available for pre-order now. Have a look.

Vienna Drawer Pull
($55 AUD) is designed in Australia and made in India. “A couple of decades ago, when living in TriBeCa NYC, I visited an exhibition on Duane Street of mid-century Viennese designer Carl Auböck,” writes Sibella. “His love of cane, wood, leather, and brass are of endless inspiration, an homage to his many designs that were released in 1954.”
